Wilson is a thoughtfully reimagined workers cottage in Brunswick, transformed from a long-term rental into a warm, contemporary home while honouring its heritage character. The original front of the home has been carefully restored, with a light-filled rear extension increasing the footprint while maintaining a generous backyard and strong connection to the outdoors.
An indoor fireplace pays homage to the home’s history, complemented by Australian hardwood timber windows and doors, and custom cabinetry and joinery that bring warmth and craftsmanship throughout. Delivered for an interstate client, Wilson was both designed and built all in house at North Star, with seamless remote collaboration from start to finish, culminating in a memorable first viewing when the owners received the keys to their completed home.
